A_665 - Artificial intelligence is an incredible tool; it can perform truly interesting tasks. However, there are some dark sides I'd like to highlight. The first concerns people with low IQs: they may write prompts for unintelligent reasons and leave the AI to perform the work for them in a professional manner. This could lead to significant social imbalances, as if the motivations behind a job are unethical, the risk is actually that of a barbaric society. The second danger concerns the evolution of human beings: if I can delegate tasks to AI instead of using my own intelligence to solve them, I effectively train my brain less, and consequently, my intelligence grows much more slowly over the course of my life, as it doesn't address most of the challenges left to AI (for example, developing software). This leads to both a lack of evolution in digital work tools and in workers themselves. The price of this will be seen in future generations. It's not enough to study to understand concepts; we also need to put them into practice to fully train and evolve our intelligence and the tools we use to work. Artificial intelligence, as the name itself suggests, is a tool that simulates human intelligence, so it's quite obvious that its presence will have consequences for our brains, if not in the short term, certainly in the long term.
