A_052 - As for love with the opposite sex, I've had romantic experiences that "kindled" simply by persevering in kindness with the opposite sex, a bit like when you blow on a burning ember and fire appears. Sometimes even without ever meeting physically, but only through electronic communication tools. There are probably different types of love based on the combination of people it forms, because I've experienced at least 10 different ones (for example, one seemed more like a "strawberry" love, while another was more like a "bright aquatic" love; many of them lasted only a handful of seconds, but at least I was able to experience them). This is also why I believe kindness is important in our society. Sometimes, when you're in love with someone who's getting married to someone else, your heart might shatter for a moment, but then, with time, everything sorts itself out... usually... Furthermore, if you happen to fall in love and completely lose your ability to reason, pour your love into acts of kindness toward trees, or, if there aren't any, toward anyone you happen to be around, perhaps with a hug. That way, you'll be able to regain your ability to reason. I also had a long-distance relationship where, instead of love, I felt hate. In that case, it perhaps helped me cleanse the other person and, in some ways, it encouraged me to push myself harder.
