A_012 - As for wool, I think it can be used, but sheep should be sheared with razors with built-in combs so that they aren't completely shaved and don't get injured by the razor while shaving. Sheep should also be sheared only in spring. This way, they'd have short fur during the warmest months of the year and long fur during the coldest. It should also be said that it's perfectly understandable that a shepherd who raises and manages sheep has a fundamentally difficult problem to manage: animal reproduction. Any animal that finds abundant food and is in close proximity to its peers tends to reproduce (this applies to poultry, sheep, etc.), and it's therefore understandable that those who manage these animals find themselves having to steal eggs from nests or produce cheese (with all the unpleasant "practices") that many vegans are aware of in order to prevent the animals' continued reproduction. As far as I know, there are currently no contraceptives for animals. Therefore, I personally urge all vegans not to harbor any hostility toward this type of activity, and indeed, if they have any solutions for improvement, I encourage them to share them. This obviously doesn't apply to factory farms, where animal reproduction is practiced using artificial techniques to maximize profit.
